Terms& Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between Reloko Removals Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the customer (“you”, “your”) for the provision of removal, transport, and related services.

By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

1.1 We provide removal, transport, packing, and storage assistance services as agreed in your quotation.
1.2 Any additional services (e.g. packing, dismantling, storage, disposal) will be charged separately unless explicitly included.
1.3 We reserve the right to use sub-contractors or third-party carriers when necessary.

2. Quotations and Pricing

2.1 All quotations are based on the information provided by you, including property access, inventory, distance, and any special requirements.
2.2 Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
2.3 Prices exclude parking fees, tolls, congestion charges, and ferry fees unless stated otherwise.
2.4 Additional charges may apply if:

  • The move involves extra items or takes longer than estimated.
     
  • Access is restricted (e.g. stairs, no lift, long carry distance, or parking issues).
     
  • Delays are caused by you, your agents, or third parties.
     

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
3.2 Full payment must be made on or before completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 We accept payment by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.
3.4 Failure to pay on time may result in suspension of services or legal recovery of debt.

4. Cancellations and Postponements

4.1 If you cancel or postpone your booking:

  • More than 7 days before the move – no charge.
     
  • Between 2–7 days before – 30% of the total fee applies.
     
  • Within 48 hours – full payment may be required.
    4.2 Cancellations must be made in writing (email accepted).
     

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Ensure that all items are ready for collection and properly packed (unless we are providing packing services).
     
  • Secure or remove valuables, jewellery, cash, and important documents before the move.
     
  • Arrange suitable parking and permits for our vehicles.
     
  • Be present or represented at both collection and delivery addresses.
     
  • Check that nothing has been left behind at collection.
     

6. Our Responsibilities

We agree to:

  • Perform services with reasonable care and skill.
     
  • Take all necessary precautions to protect your belongings during handling and transit.
     
  • Arrive at the agreed time or notify you promptly of any unavoidable delays.
     

7. Insurance and Liability

7.1 We hold Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance.
7.2 Our liability for loss or damage is limited to £50 per item unless otherwise agreed or insured for higher value.
7.3 We are not liable for:

  • Items packed by you or third parties.
     
  • Electrical, mechanical, or internal damage to appliances unless externally damaged.
     
  • Loss caused by weather, traffic delays, or circumstances beyond our control.
    7.4 Claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
     

8. Storage (if applicable)

8.1 Storage services are provided through approved third-party facilities.
8.2 You remain responsible for insurance coverage of stored goods unless arranged through us.

9. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to traffic, strikes, accidents, weather conditions, or access restrictions.

10. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our service:

  • Notify your move manager or driver immediately, and
     
  • Submit a written complaint within 48 hours of completion.
    We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly.
     

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
